Discovery Call

Next, submit a letter of intent along with any publications, business analytics, projects, research, or other works you are proud of.

Document Submission

Complete a full interview with the team. This is also when we determine fees/contributions in exchange for your mentorship or carve out your individual plan for onboarding as someone who is already an IBCLC.

Join The Current, receive training, learn business tools to help you grow within our private practice then begin providing care in your city!

Lead with curiosity. Believe that how a mom feels after you leave the visit matters just as much as the clinical outcome. Do things different- ride The Current.

Book Discovery Call 
Information you may need:

  • Ideally, you’ll have a good understanding of the pathways to become an IBCLC, you’ll have the college courses complete, and you’ll be a CLC/CBS. However, none of this is required to book a call.

  • I would like for you to be in a good location, with a unique background, an ability to funnel yourself some clients, and a personality that flows with ours is ideal! If you’re unsure about the potential of your location or whether or not your background is fitting- book the call! Let’s find out.

  • Private practice IBCLCs provide expert, gold standard lactation care. You’ll provide clients with 90 min in home consults, and flexible virtual options. Depending on your area and volume of clients, an office location may be approved.

  • Currently there are no non-competes, and we are very open about teaching marketing and the business. Learn alongside us, grow alongside us. We are looking for candidates who wish to remain within or partnered to the practice, although we honor each individuals journey.
