Meet your IBCLC
Founder & IBCLC
I have a background in psychology, & my passion for perinatal mental health naturally bridged into feeding by recognizing that how we feed our babies shapes our emotional wellbeing, self-trust, & family connection. I watched my own mother tandem feed twins while battling PPD, which showed me how deeply feeding shapes our postpartum experience. Today, I help families with all things breast & feeding while honoring the emotional & mental shifts that weave through feeding & early parenthood. I am a mother to 5 children ages 10 yrs - 0 yrs and have breastfed, combo fed, pumped, and had a NICU separation. These personal experiences helped shape the way I provide care in the community I love.
Amanda Bartles
IBCLC & RN
I began my career in hospital labor and delivery, supporting families through birth and those first important hours of feeding. That experience showed me how much early feeding support can shape the days and weeks that follow, and sparked my interest in lactation. I later moved into birth center care, where I was able to follow families through pregnancy, birth, and up to six weeks postpartum, giving me a deeper understanding of how feeding changes once families go home and settle into life with a new baby. After having my second baby, I hired an IBCLC for feeding support, and experiencing expert, in-home lactation care for myself and my baby helped me realize I wanted to continue this work in a bigger way. Since then, I have worked alongside Amanda Bartles supporting families through all stages of feeding and early parenthood.
